Released in 2014, Dolce by Dolce & Gabbana is classified as a feminine fragrance and belongs to the Floral family. Dolce is part of the Dolce collection. Papaya flower and Neroli form the opening chord of the composition, in the heart - Amaryllis, Narcissus and Water lily (water lily); the base is cashmeran and musk. This delicate white floral fragrance reflects Domenico Dolce's love for Sicily and its traditions, how the values of one generation are passed on to the next. It is no coincidence that the Dolce bottle resembles a vintage one: the flower-shaped cap repeats the shapes of marzipan figurines made by confectioners from Palermo to Syracuse, and the black grosgrain ribbon bow is a reference to the first Dolce & Gabbana collections. The inscription of the name of the fragrance also has a special connection with the house: it repeats the signature of Domenico Dolce. During the launch of the fragrance in 2014, Canadian model Kate King became its face, but in early 2018, in the pictures of Victor Demarchelier, she was replaced by the Sicilian Julia Maenza.
